Powers and Abilities:
1. Cooking! Honestly, he can more or less prepare and cook anything.
2. He appears to be able to tell the temperature of things by touch!
3. He is also apparently resistant to heat up to at least 180
4. He has a calming nature with animals

What Did Your Character Wish For?

Senshi's wish was a selfless one. Instead of wishing for something for himself, he wished that the party would be able to find and restore Falin. He made this wish because he knows what it's like to lose people, to feel helpless when in the face of someone changing... Like he was with his mining group, watching them all starve and die until he was the last one. He genuinely wants the best for his party and the bond they have is something he missed out on. To be accepted as one of them? Yeah, you bet he wished for them to be able to save and help Falin.

Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most? (cw: brief mention of cannibalism)


I think he's most bonded with Laios! After all, they share a love of monster cuisine! He didn't take long at all to get along with the party leader and was more than happy to share with him his knowledge and experience of how to find and cook food within the many levels of the Dungeon.

I also think I should mention that he misses Gillin the most. Senshi always saw him as a cool older brother, seeing as the mining party he was responsible took him in after he was orphaned. He was always concerned about Senshi, seeing as they were the youngest in the group, and always seemed to be careless with his tools and weapons. They tried to protect him and stand up for Senshi right up until their death where they provided the meat to save Senshi from starvation. In fact, the helmet that Senshi is characterized for wearing previously belonged to Gillin. He wears it now as a memento.

2. What are they most afraid of?

Senshi is most afraid of three things! Let me explain.

1. Cannibalism: Senshi lived in fear of the idea that he was forced to eat one of his companions to survive. As their numbers dwindled as well as their food, he grew fearful of the fact he thought Gillin killed Totan and fed him the other dwarves' flesh to survive. It turns out that it was a hippogriff transformed into a griffin and not the last of the mining party that he consumed.

2. Griffins: Seeing as a griffin was picking off his companions one by one and eventually had him and Gillin trapped and cornered, Senshi has been terrified of them ever since! Once he learned that it was a Hippogriff that had been transformed by a fairy circle, he seemed to be less afraid. However, the initial fear is still there upon seeing a Griffin!

3. Losing the ones he loves: Senshi was orphaned, his parents died of illness and an accident... Then the mining party that took him in were all killed off by a Hippogriff (like I mentioned above.) And seeing as Falin was eaten by the red dragon and then transformed into a chimera, it's only natural he'd fear that those in the party who care for her would lose her too.

3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?

Emotionally: In a way, before he stumbled upon the Laios' party, he had become something of a hermit. He isolated himself from others, spending most of his time living and thriving in the Dungeon, only really returning to the surface for essentials, happy to live alone and consume monsters. He seems kind of distant and strange like he has yet to process the traumas he's been through.

Mentally: Senshi is set in his ways, he is extremely traditional and obstinate, which often leads him to clash with others. Spending about ten years on his own in the Dungeon made him reclusive and he does at times struggle with being back in a group.

Physically: He's clumsy and a little oblivious at times, walking into traps or not being able to fit through holes so that he can hide. He is strong, being a Dwarf and all, but he never did much actual work as a minor. He's small for his kind and was undernourished for a while in his childhood so compared to other Dwarf's he's a little weaker. He also despises magic and magic use so often when others use it to heal or better themself, he will struggle.

4. What would make them happiest?

To see Falin reunited, whole, and healthy with Laios and the others. That or, to be able to encourage the 'young'uns' to eat better, get plenty excorises and rest. He just wants to put others' well-being before his own, so if he could see that people were thriving from eating the monsters he taught them to cook, that would really make him happy.

5. What do you want out of your character in this setting?
I want to see Senshi process his past trauma. I want him to not shy away from others and to open up again, no matter if it hurts like he did with Laios' party. I want growth for Senshi, let him feel settled, and learn how to integrate with people again.

I think I would also like to see him being useful. Like, he knows so much about food and surviving in a Dungeon, I want him to go into the Labyrinth and strive too! Come back and help share and teach others how they too can survive in any place they might find themselves.

Love would be hard to get, but I'm not opposed to him finding a special relationship either.
